Barbara Stewart RWA RBSA PS
Barbara's main inspiration is from landscapes. Coastal and hill regions are where she looks for the rhythms and patterns in the landscape. Devon, Cornwall, Wales, the South Downs, the Isle of Wight have all be inspirational places for her. She likes the Greek Islands and the Mediterranean light with deep blue seas and sky, white walls and deep shadows and less green to cope with than in Britain. Barbara's work has been shown in a number of exhibitions both within the UK and internationally, including New York, Affordable Art Fair and Royal Academy Summer Shows. Barbara was president of the Society until November 2008. |
